Frequently asked questions

  • A home solar survey is a technical assessment of your property. We review your roof using a drone survey, assess shading and orientation, look at your electricity usage, and determine whether solar (and battery storage) is suitable for your home.

  • In most cases, no. The external roof and shading assessment is carried out using a drone. If access to your consumer unit or meter is required, we’ll let you know in advance.

  • Yes. If solar isn’t viable due to roof layout, shading, structural limitations or other factors, we’ll tell you clearly. The survey is about accuracy, not selling unsuitable systems.

  • You’ll receive a technical summary outlining system feasibility, estimated system size, expected performance, and an indication of costs and payback. This allows you to make an informed decision without obligation.

  • Absolutely. Many customers start with panels only and add a battery later to store excess solar and boost evening usage.
